Lure the suits of armor to strike on the carpet, then pull the carpet up to trip them, causing an Empowered Greenie to burst forth, who can be then captured normally. Head to the main area of the chamber, and note the self replenishing carpet, this will become very useful in a short moment. The far side of the cliffside isn't accessible, instead use the Poltergust on the wheel to open the gate and head inside. Since Luigi can't follow, go right towards the Cliffside, but first deal with the several Empowered Greenies and the Empowered Slammer that ambush Luigi.
